The KOREA MAT 2019 (International Logistics Industry Exhibition) exhibition was held at KINTEX, Ilsan for 4 days from 16th to 19th. This exhibition had various exhibits such as transportation service and solution, logistics automation system, logistics IT, and many people who were interested in the development of logistics industry came to the exhibition. THiRA-UTECH’s AGV-driven exhibition in particular received great attention.
THiRA-UTECH’s AGV logistics robot is a self-driving vehicle that moves objects from the place indicated in the system to the destination autonomously through magnetic fields, optics, lasers, and electromagnetic fields without rails or guide structures on the floor. This can increase the efficiency of manufacturing / logistics. In addition, precise positioning is possible up to mm unit, and multiple safety protection is possible with laser / ultrasound recognition, buffer bumper and emergency button.
